Iron Age Office is proud to unveil our latest collaboration with a leading heavy civil contractor in the Southeast, an organization renowned for its work in civil construction, marine infrastructure, energy, logistics, and disaster relief. This confidential project reflects our shared commitment to craftsmanship, durability, and industrial innovation.
At the heart of this installation is a one-of-a-kind reception desk, custom-built from individual steel excavator tracks. This bold design choice pays homage to our client’s deep roots in heavy equipment operations and infrastructure development. It’s the first time we’ve incorporated excavator tracks into a reception build, and we embraced the challenge with enthusiasm. The result is a rugged, industrial centerpiece that commands attention and celebrates the grit of the construction industry.
To outfit every private office, we installed the Knight Desk V2 in a U-shaped configuration. With its robust steel frame and solid wood surface, the Knight V2 is engineered to perform under pressure, perfect for heavy civil professionals who work as hard at their desks as they do on the jobsite. The U-shape layout adds surface area and storage, maximizing productivity while keeping everything within arm’s reach. This is a workstation built for project managers, engineers, and decision-makers who live in the details.
Our client’s portfolio includes large-scale site development, underground utilities, aggregate crushing, and energy infrastructure—projects that demand precision, resilience, and coordination. We designed this workspace to echo those values, blending industrial aesthetics with functional design. From the excavator-inspired reception desk to the powerful Knight V2 workstations, every piece reflects the strength and purpose of the heavy civil industry.
At Iron Age Office, we thrive on custom challenges and industrial design. Whether you’re in construction, logistics, or energy, we’re ready to craft furniture that reflects your mission and momentum.
