Carpet Tech is a carpet cleaning company offering residential and commercial services. However, there’s a lot more to carpet tech than meets the eye. Carpet Tech is a family business. It was initially started by Chad Pharies when Chad was just in college. It was Chad’s way of paying his way through school. Tragically, Chad was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 1995, which put a halt on everything, including Carpet Tech. In 1996, Chet Pharies, (brother of Chad and now owner of Carpet Tech) rebirthed his beloved brother’s company to honor him, and turn it into what Chad dreamed it could become. Carpet Tech is now a fully run family business and growing across the great state of Texas.
We were compelled when hearing Carpet Tech’s story. Iron Age Office not only runs and operates as a family, but our staff is also comprised of many families all working together. So, family-run businesses hold a very special place in our hearts.
