Employee Highlight: Bryan Dittrich

“I had never found a job that was able to let me be myself.” That’s what Bryan Dittrich had to say when asked about his favorite aspect of working at Iron Age Office. He can think outside the box, and he loves it.

At Iron Age Office, one of our top concerns is the happiness of our employees. These are the people that keep IAO going, so if they aren’t enjoying their working experience, something has to change. We thought it would be a good idea to speak with various members of the team in order for the Iron Age community to learn more about them.

At only 20 years of age, Bryan Dittrich has become a beloved member of the company. Primarily dealing with wood staining, sanding, and furniture assembly, his bright personality and eccentric sense of humor make him an extremely popular individual. Speaking about his previous work experiences, Bryan says, “Everything was just so robotic, so structured. You didn’t have the freedom to use your skills, and to really show your potential. Here, I feel like I can actually take the skills I’ve learned and apply them.”

“Revive Craftsmanship” is an important mantra here at Iron Age, so we were curious how Bryan would define it. “Revive Craftsmanship, to me, means just being able to work with our hands, bring old trades back and create a product that is both durable and unique.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Iron Age Office is all about putting in the effort to get the best results. No corners are cut. No shortcuts are taken. Through diligent effort and immaculate attention to detail, Iron Age produces the highest quality furniture, with no two pieces being exactly alike.
