Every piece of furniture that leaves Iron Age Office begins its journey inside our 80,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Kennesaw, Georgia. More than just a production floor, our facility represents a commitment to American craftsmanship, quality, and the belief that furniture should be built to last for generations. Unlike many companies that rely on imported products and outsourced manufacturing, Iron Age Office designs, fabricates, finishes, and assembles its furniture under one roof. This level of control allows our team to maintain the quality standards that have become synonymous with the Iron Age Office name.
Wood Shop
The Wood Shop is where every butcher block desktop, conference table, storage unit, and wood component begins its journey. Using premium American sourced maple wood, our craftsmen cut, sand, and prepare each piece to meet the exact specifications of the project. From executive desks to custom conference tables, every wood surface is carefully crafted to highlight the natural beauty and character of the material while ensuring the durability required for commercial environments.
Metal and Weld Shop
Our metal and weld department is responsible for producing the steel components that define the Iron Age Office aesthetic. Here, raw steel is transformed into desk frames, workstation systems, table bases, reception desks, shelving, and custom architectural elements. Utilizing advanced laser cutting technology, precision welding equipment, and skilled welding techniques, our team creates the steel structures that serve as the foundation for many of our products.
Spray booth
The spray booth is where raw materials are transformed into completed furniture components. Logos get painted and then receive a protective clear coats. Our controlled finishing environment, including advanced spray booth technology, helps ensure consistency, quality, and long lasting performance across every project.
Assembly
Once wood and steel components have been completed, they move into the Assembly Department. Here, our team carefully brings each piece together, ensuring every component is properly fitted, aligned, and inspected. This stage allows us to verify quality before products move to packaging and shipping, ensuring clients receive furniture that is ready to perform from day one.
Shipping and Logistics
The Shipping Department serves as the final checkpoint before furniture leaves our facility. Every order is inspected, protected, and prepared for transport to destinations across the United States. Whether shipping a single executive desk or furnishing an entire headquarters, our logistics team works to ensure products arrive safely and in the condition our clients expect.
